Hey - welcome to the premiere of my new family- and student- friendly blog covering this summer's 'round the world trip!
I was making some copies the other day after school and noticed that someone -- most likely a history teacher -- had left a study guide for his/her final on the copy machine, and the list of words, people, places, etc., to know for the final corresponded quite well with where I'll be going in three short weeks, and all the terminology was also related to the Cold War! Hence, the inspiration for the naming of this blog!
Here's a rough run-down of the itinerary for this two-month voyage: Germany, Russia, Mongolia, China, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Japan, Texas (one of these things is not like the others...).
Bonus points for anyone who can come up with the name of the above graphic...
